Are you struggling to pay your bills?
Teignbridge has distributed hundreds of thousands of pounds over the last few months to help residents who have been struggling to cope with the cost of living crisis.
As winter beckons and cost of living pressures continue, people from all walks of life could struggle to make ends meet. As savings are used up and unexpected bills arrive, many more people may need to seek financial support.
Already this year Teignbridge have allocated some of the district’s share of the £10million allocated to Devon by the government to support people who are hardest hit, such as those who are homeless, low income families and pensioners.
Applications to the Household Support Fund are confidential so if you have never sought support in the past there is no embarrassment in doing so now if your circumstances have changed and you can’t pay your bills and are getting into debt.
Find out more about how the Household Support Fund can help by going to the Council's website and take a look at our Cost of Living web pages for more information on the help that could be available to you from other sources. https://www.teignbridge.gov.uk/benefits-and-support/cost-of-living-crisis/cost-of-living-help-and-support/?fbclid=IwAR06MtihF0SnUih3E5X0-DSHjEC0xV1lrt_AEX5-mK3-BU_UtJIGyLiV0M0
